Seeing Double Reversible Throw Quilts

his quilt-as-you-go pattern creates reversible throw quilts where both the front and back are pieced and quilted as you sew. The quilt begins with a medallion center, then builds outward using 3-inch fabric strips and 2 1/2-inch strips of batting to form the main body of the quilt.

A finishing border is added using Bosal Add-A-Border pre-cut quilt batting, 6 inches wide by 10 yards long, for a clean and efficient finish. The pattern includes directions for two sizes, a small throw measuring 43 x 60 inches and a large throw measuring 63 x 80 inches.

The small size uses one roll of Bosal Katahdin Batting on a Roll 390K-25, while the large size uses one roll of 390K-75. Each size also requires Bosal Katahdin Add-A-Border Batting on a Roll, 6 inches by 10 yards, 394K-10. This pattern is ideal for confident beginners and experienced quilters who enjoy fast, satisfying finishes with a fully reversible result.
