Beachcomber Jacket Pattern

Create a cozy quilted jacket with a patchwork look using the Pieced Jacket Pattern from Laundry Basket Quilts. Instead of constructing a garment completely from scratch, this pattern begins with a crew neck sweatshirt one size larger than you normally wear, giving you a comfortable foundation for adding your quilted design.

The project uses 30 fat eighths of multicolor dark fabrics along with seven quarter yards of light fabrics, making it a fun opportunity to combine coordinating prints from a favorite collection or pull together fabrics from your stash.

You’ll need a crew neck sweatshirt one size larger than normally worn, 30 dark fat eighths measuring approximately 9" x 20", seven light quarter yards measuring approximately 9" x width of fabric, and ¼ yard of dark fabric for binding. An optional 2½ yards of fabric can be used for lining.
